hugh grew up playing drums in a metal band and driving round europe in a tour bus which actually is quite cool despite the heavy metal bit and although it was pretty rock’n’roll he secretly preferred fishing and painting and shooting amazing stills so he moved to london where he ran a pub but got bored of the hipsters so he joined a production company and started shooting music videos and then agencies starting asking him to make them beautiful commercials and even though he’s brilliant in a go-kart and can do a varial kick flip on a skateboard whilst knocking out a paradiddle he’s even better behind the camera and he has this real knack for making actors relax which is you know pretty useful on a shoot if you’re a director and for that reason as well as a million others he simply had to become a knucklehead
