rob grew up in sussex and left school at 16 and became a carpenter and considered becoming a missionary but instead chose rave and moved to london and wrote a comic and then film reviews and then made loads of music videos including ‘the third best car video ever’ and one which won an mtv award and the breakdancing one which nearly won a grammy and then went on to direct dozens of ads as part of blue source and won a bafta and caused a spike in deodorant sales and nearly moved to la but settled in brighton where he plays records and makes short films and writes screenplays and shoots great ads and plays more records and still dabbles in woodwork although the sledge he built in his man-cave veers dangerously to the left but his kids like it anyway and that makes him laugh so for that reason alone we really think he’s a knucklehead
